Harmony

Harmony is an open blockchain platform that enables fast and secure transactions with data sharding and fast finality. Its mission is to scale trust and create a radically fair economy by providing a decentralized, scalable, and secure platform for settling any transactions without trusted parties. The Harmony protocol features a novel Proof-of-Stake (PoS) mechanism called Effective PoS (EPoS), which reduces centralization and distributes rewards fairly to thousands of validators. EPoS slashes validators who double-sign and penalizes elected but unavailable nodes, ensuring the network's security and integrity. The protocol also uses Verifiable Delay Function (VDF) for unbiasable and unpredictable shard membership, ensuring the security of each shard.

Harmony has a range of decentralized products, including Swap, which is a Uniswap v3 fork on Harmony, and Timeless Wallet, a native mobile and social experience that provides users with full custody and self-control over their assets. The platform also features Layer Zero Bridge for secure and cross-chain transfers, Gnosis Multisig for shared asset custody and control, and FlappyH1 for tap-to-earn rewards on Telegram.

The Harmony team has made significant progress in 2025, with notable achievements including the completion of the 1.10 mainnet release, which included EVM improvements and reliability fixes. The team also prepared Stream Sync for mainnet deployment, following revisions to peer selection, error handling, and synchronization logic. In addition, the team updated infrastructure for operations and on-chain strategy, developing tools for liquidity analysis, hedging, and copy-trading.

Harmony has a strong focus on community development, with a growing ecosystem of partners and developers contributing to its growth. The platform has also made significant strides in DeFi, with the launch of Swap and other decentralized products.
