This scalability enables the processing of over 4,500 transactions per second for faster, cheaper payments and real-time data verification.

The Camino Network is designed to support various use cases, including on-chain travel transactions, secure and transparent payment processing, and real-time data verification. The token provides value to holders by enabling them to participate in the network's governance, validate transactions, and propose new features and improvements. The Camino Network is operated by a Consortium of travel industry-related entities, ensuring that each member has a vested interest in the success and sustainability of the network. This structure promotes transparency, trustworthiness, and equal participation among validators, who contribute to the network by providing a validator node and securing and validating transactions. In return for their services, they receive an equal share (30%) of the transaction fees as a reward.
